Unilever has opened tea factory in Gostomel

English-Dutch Concern Unilever has founded the factory in Ukraine – tea production has been opened in Gostomel, in which it has been invested 8,3 million euro. The TM Brooke Bond, Beseda and Lipton will be produced in the factory.

Transport logistics in Ukraine requires constant improvement – today new sales markets are being opened for the country, refocusing to European market is taking place, where the standards are initially high. The factory has been built during 9 months, but the capacity of the enterprise will allow satisfying both internal demand of Ukraine and the export. The raw material for production will come from Kenya, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, India, etc.

Also the factory has created 100 new working places for Ukrainian employees.

We would like to remind that recently Ukraine has spent almost all of the quotas for export of goods to the EU on a free trade agreement.
