During 10 months since July to April 2017/18, 2 million tons of rapeseed were delivered to foreign markets, which is significantly more than last three seasons, but 20.5% lower than the record exports for the same period in 2008/0 (2.6 million tons).
According to "UkrAgroConsult" experts, the geography of deliveries has not changed significantly within the current 2017/18 season. EU countries continued to increase imports of Ukrainian rapeseed, taking 82% of the total.
Pakistan in the current season re-started purchasing rape from Ukraine and took the second place in the ranking of importers (9% of total exports). In addition, Bangladesh (3%), UAE (3%), Israel (1%) and Iran (1%) are still interested in Ukrainian rapeseed.
